Kohima, November 20 (MExN): The Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) will be organizing the Launching Programme of annual Fortnight on November 24 on the theme “End Gender-Based Violence in the World of Work “ at the Commission’s Office, NBCC Complex, 1st Floor, Bayavü Hills Kohima at 11:00am. A press release from Obangla Jamir, Secretary NSCW, stated that with the mandate of November 25 as International Day against Women and December 10 as International Human Rights Day, the intervening days between the two dates have been observed for the past years as “Fortnight’s Observation on Elimination of Violence against Women” at both local and International levels to create awareness and promote advocacy for the cause. The Commission has invited two representatives from each Tribal Women Hohos/Organization.
