Tuensang, April 16 (DIPR): Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) led by its team leader and NSCW Chairperson, Dr Temsula Ao with the members of the commission visited Tuensang District Jail and Women Cell on April 13.
During the visit, the commission briefed the District Jail inmates and Women Cell and said the directives of the National Commission for Women New Delhi to collect first-hand report on the conditions and infrastructures of the jail and Women Cell of their district. Commission also said the aims and objectives of the visit were to see the conditions and status of District Jail and its women cell in the District.
While donating 5000 Rupees to the jail inmates Temsula, informed that they will be visiting all the 10 districts in the state, except Longleng this time.
