Kohima, October 23 (MExN): The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department will be organising a Capacity Development Programme, IRS, Table Top Exercise on October 24 at Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Kohima.
A press release issued by Johnny Ruangmei, OSD to the Government of Nagaland said that this programme is a precursor to the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx), a state-wide mega mock drill which will be conducted in the month of November 2019. All AHODs and HODs of all concerned departments will be deputing two officials each from their respective departments to attend the programme.
Kazheto Kinimi, Advisor NSDMA will exhort the gathering. Resource persons for the programme are Brig Vinod Dutta, Sr Advisor and visiting faculty Centre for Disaster Management studies, IP University Delhi and Former Secretary Defence Crisis Management Group (DM), MoD, Col Sanjay Srivastava, Convenor Lightning Resilient India Campaign and Chairman Climate Resilient Observing systems Promotion Council (CROPC) and I Toshitsungba Aier, IPS, DG HG&CD, SDRF, Nagaland.
Registration for the programme will begin by 9:30 am.
