NSeGS informs NPSC aspirants on online forms

KOHIMA, MAY 16 (MExN): The Nagaland State e-Governance Society (NSeGS) has informed that this year the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has decided to accept only online forms for Nagaland Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2014. “In this situation where offline (paper) forms will be rejected by NPSC, our earlier advertisement on May 14, 2014 indicating our difficulties to take the risk of accepting NPSC forms after May 23 2014 may create some confusion,” a press note from the NSeGS stated.

It clarified that since online payment and submission of application forms will take about 15 to 20 minutes per form, “our earlier apprehension is that in case of technical breakdown in a particular CSC location, our VLEs (Village Level Entrepreneurs) may not be in a position to upload the forms in time and although our VLEs will be active even on May 24 and 25, there is some risk involved in giving an undertaking to accept the form upto May 25.” However, it stated that since NPSC has decided to go fully online, the VLEs will be instructed to accept NPSC applications till the last day.

It assured that the Department of IT&C is taking extra precautions in the process and appealed for all aspiring NPSC candidates not to wait till the last moment for submission of application form to the VLEs (CSC operators) for online payment and subsequent uploading of NPSC application forms.
