DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 4 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has denounced the message being circulated in various social media groups (WhatsApp & Facebook in particular) where in one of the former president as well as the current president of the Federation have been accused of having “easy access” to an international terrorist group ISIS.
A clarification issued by the Federation in this connection placed on record that the subjected message is nothing but a blatant lie created by unknown individual (s) with malicious intent to defame the leaders of the Federation and that the general public should not give any credence to it.
Further, the Federation has direct the creator(s) of ‘the message’ to come clean before the officials of the Federation within one week from the date of issue of this clarification, failing which it shall be compelled to pursue the matter by lodging a formal police complaint.
The Federation has also appealed the general public to be mindful of various fake news doing the rounds in various social media groups and desist from blindly forwarding them.
