Kohima, September 19 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) today made it stand clear on superannuation that it has no objection for enhancement of superannuation age provided the length of services is maintained. “Our sole demand is the length of services,’ NSF president Imchatoba told media persons today, adding that the Federation will ask for fixing the length of services. If the length of services is applied, equal justice will prevail, the president said. The NSF also stated that unless the government agrees to fix the length of service, the Federation will never be in position to support enhancement of the superannuation age. Earlier, the NSF in its recent representation to the Chief Minister asked the government to lift the blanket ban on creation of government jobs, as also “entry of upper age limit maybe enhanced to 35 years.” The Federation also said it has no objection for enhancement of superannuation age and the maximum length of services should be 33 years of service “for fairness.”
