Tangkhul SU, Billy Graham FC, Kyouchi FC win
Our Correspondent Kohima | October 6 Tangkhul Students’ Union, Billy Graham FC and Khyouchi FC Manipur today registered win in their respective matches of the ongoing 18th NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2017 here under the aegis of Angami Students’ Union. In the first match of the day, Khyouchi FC blanked Kirha Youth Society Viswema 4-0. Siilounii contributed two goals for Khyouchi FC while Reuben and Zhaipu netted a goal each. Tangkhul Students’ Union overpowered Renegades FC 3-0 in the second match of the day. Thomyo L. Shimray, Rinchanso Khongreiwo and Themjoi Jaja connected a goal each to Tangkhul Students’ Union. In the last match of the day, Rahul Kamei and Kornan netted a goal each for Billy Graham FC to win over Kings FC Chiiziema. Nigerian footballer to participate at 18th NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy 26 years old Francis O from Nigeria will be participating in this year's 18th NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy. Francis who will be representing Lamphel FC, Manipur will be playing against the High School Taxi Drivers' FC on October 7 in the second round. Francis plays as a striker and has played for several clubs in Nigeria and India, including Okwu United and Perfect United in Nigeria; and Southern Samity, Kolkata Dynamo Club, I Railway FC, United Sports Club Kolkata, Tezpur United, Sunrise Athletic, Tuff Laxmi Prasad Sports Club, Hindustan Eagles Chennai, Ramhlun North FC Aizwal, and Arrows FC Chennai in India MATCHES FOR OCT 7 1st Match: Naga Bazar FC vs Biekrazou @ 11:00 AM 2nd Match: High School Taxi Drivers XI vs Lamphel FC Manipur @ 12:30 PM 3rd Match: Khriekesa FC vs Chedema Village Youth Organization @ 2:00 PM.
