Kohima, November 4 (MExN): The second semi-final match between FIFA FC and Headhunters was played on November 4, and according to the organizers, Thursday’s match witnessed the highest number of spectators.
In a closely fought match, Headhunters registered a 2-1 win to make it to the final of the 21st NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2021 after defeating strong contenders FIFA FC.
The opening goal for Headhunters came from the boots of Haotinmang (5) in the 43rd minute.
In the 60th minute, Chingsha Phom extended the lead for the Headhunters and it was not until the 87th minute that Maibam lanchenba netted the lone goal for FIFA FC.
With the win, the Headhunters advance to the finals and will play against Mhakenyi Kro-u on November 6.
Kethosituo Sekhose ,NCS Project Director DRDA, Dimapur was the match patron on Thursday.
