The Angami Students’ Union (ASU) today organized a special edition 2020 of NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy here at Indira Gandhi Stadium in honour of martyrs late Kekuojalie Sachii and late Vikhozo Yhoshü.
Owing to COVID 19 pandemic, it has become necessary to suspend this year edition, stated ASU.
This year’s event is organized with the theme ‘Beyond COVID’ to mark the trophy with a one day exhibition match between Naga Students’ Federation, Angami Students’ Union, Angami Youth Organization and ASU senior leaders.
NSF president Ninoto Awomi said that because of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic it has been compelled to suspend 2020 edition of the NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy this year.
“NSF and Naga people shall honour the martyrs throughout the generation to come,” Awomi added.
Earlier, ASU president Vizokho Zashümo delivered the keynote address.
