Dimapur, February 11 (MExN): The Naga Students' Federation (NSF) and NSCN (Reformation) have extended best wishes to the students who will be appearing for the upcoming HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) and HSSLC (Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examinations.
The exams, conducted by Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), will commence from February 13.
In a press release from its President Ninoto Awomi and Secretary Education Kegwayhun Tep, the NSF also urged all the candidates to work hard and give all-out efforts to come out successful in the upcoming examinations.
The Federation further appealed to the State Power Department to ensure that stable electricity is provided across the state in light of the upcoming examinations, “which are important gateways in a student's career.”
Meanwhile, extending its wishes, NSCN (R) in a press release issued by its MIP stated that “students are the leaders of tomorrow, and we pray that the Good Lord provides sound mind and robust health to each and every student sitting for the exam.”
NSCN (R) also prayed that God guide all the teachers in their quest to lead their students to fare well and to bring fresh laurels, in school and in society, it said.
Encouraging the students to work hard, the NSCN (R) stated that there is no substitute for hard work. “Just like a year of toiling hard in the field is shown during the harvest and produce of the crops, likewise an academic excellence of hard work/studies is shown in the exams, which is further reflected in the Nation,” it added.
