Dimapur July 15 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has extended its felicitations to Naga Hoho’s new president Bendangmayang. The NSF expressed confidence in Bendangmayang’s integrity and leadership. “NSF expresses its confidence on his integrity and leadership; the Hoho would regain its strength under his dynamic leadership and pray that it would strive rigorously for common aspirations of the Nagas” the Federation through its Information & Publicity Secretary, Kangzang Liegise, stated. For the cause of the Nagas, the Federation also extends its fullest support in every possible way to the Naga Hoho team, it added. Earlier Federal Assembly of Naga Hoho on Friday unanimously elected Bendangmayang as the president of the apex tribal council. The Naga Hoho also resolved to support the on-going peace process and to urge both the NSCN factions to continue their respective ceasefire agreements with the Government of India.
