Dimapur Jan 21 (MExN): A much peeved Naga Students Federation (NSF) today asked all concerned employees of Group C&D, BSNL, Nagaland to produce their original work documents or attested copies to the Federations’ office from January 29 to the 31st failing which the students’ body warned that it would not be held responsible for any next course of action.
The NSF was responding to what it considered as failure of the BSNL to respond to the demands of both the NSF and North East Students Organization that the quota in the Group C & D categories be made 100% for the locals.
“There are many fake appointments going on in the BSNL. Those who fail to turn up with the documents for verification will be identified and the next course of action will be decided upon them later” NSF President Pushika Awomi told The Morung Express.
He said that the genuine employees will turn up while the ‘fake’ ones won’t. “The stand of the NSF will be intensified. There has been no response from the BSNL thus far and we have no other options but to resort to our own course of action” Awomi said.
Both the NSF and the NESO demands that 100% guarantee is to be given to the locals of the NE in Group C & D categories.
It was also informed that there were 150 employees in the said group whose service regularization has been put on hold by the NESO for further verification and authentication.
NSF Vice-President Imchatoba Imchen said that the move was only right and in the interest of deserving candidates from the local quota.
“The fake ones will be detected. If they fail to comply with the NSF directive, then there will be a problem” Imchen also warned.
