NSG questions Naga Vigil

DIMAPUR, JUNE 20 (MExN): The Naga Support Group today called the reiteration made by Naga Vigil’s David P Ward in not supporting the NSCN (I-M) a “blessing.”

“In spite of its certain unfortunate shortcomings, Nagalim citizens look up on the NSCN for their national salvation,” Naga Support Group (UK) President, Professor Timothy Kaping, said in a press statement

He minced no words in blacklisting Ward as a “conman who is an agent of destructive groups which, leave alone minority, do not have any elements of political mandate to represent the Naga Nation.”

“David P Ward deceptively calls his 2-man gang as Naga Vigil. He is not a Naga and his fellow gangster is an Indian. If the fake Naga Vigil is true to its meaning, then it should be awake to the numerous abuses, threats, and murders being perpetrated in Nagalim by the Indian occupation forces and their mercenaries and pass on these stories of atrocities to the world at large. But, other than trying to break the Naga patriots, Ward had maintained a complete silence on Indian brutalities.”

The Naga Support Group further stated that it “is now obvious that he (Ward) is taking the full moral responsibility for the terrorist actions of the Indian forces and their militias whose ethnic cleansing, rape, torture, and murder are well documented. Hence, it is very correct to call Ward’s gang as Indian Vigil.”

“One funny thing,” according to Kaping, “is that Kughalu Mulatonu of the Alpha and Omega Khaplang group, routinely sends out threats and challenges to the UN, US, UK, Christian bodies, students’ organizations, human rights groups, hohos (Naga socio-cultural assemblies), etc. and foolishly considers Ward’s Indian Vigil as the all-powerful international community. We certainly will be not be surprised if Mulatonu, a Trojan horse hiding among the Sumis, is paying his huge extortion money to Conman Ward for carrying out unprovoked attacks on innocent Nagas and patriots alike.”

Lord Ahmed replies

Naga Vigil’s David P Ward today said he has received a communication from UK parliamentarian, Lord Ahmed, replying to an earlier press release issued by Ward. Ahmed reportedly responded on Monday, June 18 at 1400 hours GMT.

“We have received a copy of the Naga Vigil press release regarding the NSCN-M and have gone through it with care and consideration. We shall be bearing this in mind in the future”, Ward quoted Ahmed as saying in a transcript.

In a separate release issued today, Ward stated that a number of members of both the upper and lower houses of parliament “also happen to be members of the Naga Vigil Human Rights Group.”

He stated: “The kind of manufactured propaganda, some are indulging in, should cease because ultimately it is the people who lose out in the end equation. It is known by one and all that the Naga public underwrite the international travel and luxurious lifestyle of the armchair revolutionaries through armed extortion.”

“Naga Vigil will not be bothering to pursue the matter with the Khalistani contingent who have given limited space to the NSCN-IM in the UK because they are a negligible spent force and a lost cause to themselves. The intelligence services MI-5 and MI-6 have these types under close enough scrutiny both at home and abroad.”
