Kohima, February 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Senior Government Employees’ Welfare Association (NSGEWA) has retorted against the government for issuing “release orders, appointment and promotion orders” in spite of clear directives of the Supreme Court on November 3 and 6, 2009 in connection with the implementation of the Nagaland Retirement Act 2009. In a note, the association stated that the latest is the recent directive by the P& AR department to allow processing pension papers. This is a “clear violation of the standing directive of the apex court,” the NSGEWA said. The association has stated that processing of pension papers/cases for any NSGEWA member does not arise. All NSGEWA members are requested to refrain from processing any pension papers.
