Kohima, December 4 (MExN): The Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) official website was launched by the Justice AS Bopanna, Chief Justice, Gauhati High Court and Patron-in-Chief, Nagaland State Legal Services Authority in the presence of Justice Songkhupchung Serto, Judge, Gauhati High Court & Portfolio Judge, Nagaland at the Gauhati High, Kohima Bench Complex on December 4.
Launching the website, the Justice AS Bopanna appreciated the efforts of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority made in creating the website and said that information technology plays an important role in almost every aspect of our lives and that such information can be sought by simply pressing a button. He also said that now Nagaland State Legal Services Authority has its own website, it will help the youths and many others to avail information with regards to the activities carried by the NSLSA. After which he proceeded to launch the website by pressing the ‘enter’ key that led to the site.
A brief introduction to the website was given by Nungsangchiba Jamir of NSLSA, where he explained the various function of the website and its technicalities and also hoped that people from all walks of life find this website useful.
The programme was chaired by Mezivolu T. Theireh, NJS, Member Secretary, Nagaland State Legal Services Authority who also presented the welcome address.
Other dignitaries such as the Registrar General of Gauhati High Court, Principle to Chief Justice, Registrar General of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench, and staffs of Nagaland State Legal Services Authority, Panel Lawyers of the State and Kohima district and other concerned persons also attended the programme.
