Tuensang, October 14 (MExN): Nagaland Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers’ Association (NSSATA), Tuensang unit has urged the State Government and Department of School Education to release their five months pending salaries before October 22, 2016. The Association in a press release issued by President C. Tochi Chang stated that “SSA teachers also need salaries for survival like all other employees do. Due to non- payment of salaries teachers are facing long duration of miseries.” The Association also requested all the VEC, WEC, NSF, ENSF, CANSSEA and tribal students' unions to support in fighting for the rights of SSA Teachers. It further assured that it fully support the NSSATA meeting that took place on October 10, 2016.
