Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The Nagaland State Transport (NST) issued a revised fare chart and a weekly operational schedule for the State Helicopter Service on January 30.
The updated fare and schedule, in compliance with government approval on Tuesday, will be effective from January 31, stated a circular from the NST.
Chopper services are available from Dimapur to 20 districts and other administrative headquarters in Nagaland.
According to the revised chart provided by the NST, the fare, depending on the flying minutes, ranges from as low as Rs 1625 (Dimapur-Peren, Wokha & Tseminyu) to Rs 3900 (Dimapur –Tizit, & Mon). The fare is charged at 25% per adult passenger after a 75% subsidy, while infants (0-2 years) are charged at 10% of the total fare. Hiring for medical emergencies and chartering are also available, the circular added.
