NStCB bids farewell to Managing Director

Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): The Board of Directors, officers and employees of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) bid farewell to the outgoing Managing Director, Imtilemba Longkumer at a programme held in Dimapur on June 30. Kekhwengulo Lea, Vice Chairman, NStCB chaired the programme.  

Abao Kire of NStCB in his speech said the financial parameters of the bank demonstrate that big changes have taken place with Imtilemba taking over as Managing Director in 2015.  

The bank earned an operating profit of Rs 837.15 lakhs during the year 2016-17, which was the first highest ever profit in the history of the bank, he noted. Imtilemba continued with the initiative and earned another operating profit of Rs. Rs.860.11 in the year 2017-18 surpassing the previous year’s figure, Kire added.  

Earlier, R. Lipoktoba Aier, incoming Managing Director delivered the welcome speech and D. Sale, General Manager (ID) said the vote of thanks. AK Deb, General Manager (Accounts & MIS) spoke on behalf of the bank.  

Others who spoke were B. Bumo, Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Nagaland, Rev. Dr. Chingmak Chang, Executive Secretary, ECS Tuensang, and HC Biswas, Assistant General Manager, NABARD.  

The programme started with invocation prayer by Rev. I. Wati Jamir, Pastor DABA.
