Noksen, January 31 (MExN): The Noksen Students’ Union (NSU) through a press release has informed all the department HoDs and employees under Noksen sub-division to be regular in their duties.
NSU, President, MY Chusa and General Secretary, Y Moanungsang Chang stated in the release that this was resolved by the students’ body during its 67th Federal Assembly held on January 3 at Noksen Town in the presence of Noksen Bükmüt Thangjam (Citizen), Employees Union, Village Council, Saoshong Thangjam (Women Association) and Church leaders.
The Union will also conduct surprise inspections and stern action will be initiated against any employees absconding from works within its jurisdiction.
“The Union has also found out that some of the offices were defunct for more than a year which is tantamount to ill treatment,” and therefore urged the SDO (Civil) Noksen “to take stern action against the defaulting employees and to verify all development and civil works within its jurisdiction.”
In connection to previous representation served to the Department of School Education, the union has appealed “to immediately take up the issues on priority for a proper administration of GHS Noksen before the academic session.”
