New Delhi, June 22 (MExN): The University of Delhi has announced the start of admissions to Under-graduate, Post-graduate, Master of Philosophy and Doctors of Philosophy programmes for the Academic Session 2020-2021.
In this connection, the Naga Students’ Union Delhi (NSUD) informed in a notification on June 22 that there would be a common online registration process for all the eligible applicants.
Interested students may log onto the University of Delhi official website - www.du.ac.in for registration and subsequent procedure, informed the notification issued by NSUD Vice President, HR Yaorie.
The last date for applications for all the programmes is July 4.
The NSUD further said that while applying for the “admission the students will have to make the choices of colleges along with the courses he/she would like to opt for."
Unlike previous year, University of Delhi has conferred the sole discretionary power of respective colleges to fix additional eligibility criteria over and above the general cut-off for different categories (General, OBC, SC, ST AND PwD), it said.
“Whoever meet the announced cut off marks/percentage/eligibility criteria will be admitted for admission,” it added. There is no first come first served policy, it informed.
Meanwhile, the NSUD said that any applicant encountering difficulties while applying for the admission may contact its office bearers.
“The office of the Naga Students' Union, Delhi will always be available for our people in need,” it added.
