NSUDD cautions against fraudulent job offers, issues guidelines

Dehradun, May 26 (MExN): The Naga Students Union Dehradun (NSUDD) has expressed concern over alarming instances of fraudulent job offers targeting individuals from the Naga community, as stated in a press release.

These scams are putting our community members at significant risk, it stated.

To address this issue, the NSUDD urged all members of the Naga community and those considering job opportunities to be extremely vigilant and cautious to avoid falling victim to such scams.

To prevent further exploitation and ensure safety, the NSUDD also issued several guidelines to the Naga community at large.
Among others, it called for always verifying credentials and the legitimacy of any job offer one receives.

“Do not accept offers at face value, especially those that seem too good to be true,” it stated.

Further, the NSUDD advised contacting its office before accepting any job offers based in Dehradun or elsewhere for assistance and verification.

“We are here to help you validate the authenticity of these offers,” it added.

The union also called for availing community support by engaging with fellow Nagas in Dehradun.

“Share information and seek advice from the community to ensure that none falls victim to scams,” it said.

For any concerns or assistance required, the NSUDD also provided the contact numbers of its office bearers, including Temjensangba (General Secretary) - 9863726451/8794694858 and Vekhoculu Chuzho (Women Coordinator) - 923314671
