Kohima, August 7 (MExN): The Nagaland unit of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has submitted a memorandum to the Chairman of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB), calling for greater transparency in the recruitment process by releasing individual and category-wise cut-off marks.
In the memorandum dated August 7, the student body expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the NSSB board members and staff in ensuring the smooth conduct of examinations since its inception. However, the NSUI stated that the suggestions were based on feedback received from aspirants and were being submitted with the intent of continuous improvement and transparency.
The NSUI Nagaland State made two specific demands in the memorandum. The first was the release of individual cut-off marks in the candidate dashboard. The second was the publication of category-wise cut-off marks after the completion of the entire examination process.
The student body said it hoped that the points submitted would be given due consideration in the interest of fairness and clarity for all aspirants. The memorandum was signed by the NSUI Nagaland President and General Secretary.
