Dimapur, November 15 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Union Punjab (NSUP) had an interaction with the leaders from Nagaland at Lovely Professional University, Punjab on November 11. The team included Temjenmenba, Advisor to CM, Transport & Technical Education; Er Vipullhou Lhoungu, Director, Technical Education, Government of Nagaland; Tiakaba Amer, Additional Director, Technical Education, Government of Nagaland; and Amit Jain, PA to Advisor to CM.

At the meeting discussion, questions like what are the aims and goals collaborating with LPU and what changes can it bring and benefit our people back in Nagaland and also whether it can open up doors to student exchanges studies in the nearer future were raised by NSUP President, Alelie Keditsu. In response, Er Vipullhou lhoungu, Director of Technical Education, Government of Nagaland said that the “aim is to connect with LPU to provide better quality education to our Naga people back in Nagaland and also it will open doors for online courses, faculty training, student exchanges and many more in affiliation with  LPU.”

These efforts aim to empower young individuals with broader academic exposure and professional growth, enriching their capabilities and ensuring they remain competitive in the technical fields.
