NSVC to observe World Veterinary Day

Kohima, April 23 (MExN): The World Veterinary Day will be celebrated globally on April 30 under the theme ‘Continuing education with a one health focus’ as selected by the World Veterinary Association (WVA). The event is being organised by the WVA and the world Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) to reward the most successful professional for his/ her contribution.   The Nagaland State Veterinary Council is also organising the World Veterinary Day on April 30 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.

  NSVC President, Dr. K. David Sema in a press release has invited all the Registered Veterinary Practitioners of Nagaland State to join the celebration and contribute towards successful achievement of the planned activities aimed at ‘continuing education with a one health focus.’   In the technical session, the resource persons are Dr. Keduzol Ltu, Ph.D. (Virology) and Dr. Simon Ao, M.V.Sc (LPT). Meanwhile, MK Mero, ITS, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry, Kohima will grace the valedictory function as the chief guest.
