DIMAPUR, JANUARY 2: The Naga Student Youth Federation (NSYF), Myanmar has expressed deep sadness over what it termed as the “mournful situation encountered by our brethren, Rengma Nagas in Rengma Hills of Karbi Anglong, Assam.” A press note from the NSYF Myanmar strongly condemned the “atrocities committed by the Karbi People's Liberation Tigers (KPLT) against the lives of the Rengma Nagas and the existence of villages.” It further conveyed “deepest empathy” towards the Rengma Nagas in Assam affected by the present unrest.
