NTA to participate in 36th National Junior Taekwondo Championship

Kohima, September 19 (MExN): Nagaland Taekwondo Association (NTA) is sending a strong 19 members team to participate in the 36th National Junior Taekwondo Championship 2016 from September 22 to 25 at Multipurpose Hall Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana Punjab. The championship is organized by Punjab Taekwondo Association under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India.   The four officials are Theja Keretsu,Visabiu Peseyie, Sanstuthung Ngullie and Keneingulie.   The boys players are Tokphen Phom (u-45 kg),Repinkiu N.Tikhir (u-48 kg), Ngaiching Phom (u-51kg), Keyinchingonbe Hega (u-55kg), Boto Chopy (u-59 kg), Iteipetbo Nkie (u-63kg), Khriekethozo Keretsu (u-68kg), Keneilevo Nagi (u-73 kg), Menuosetuo Yiese (o -78kg).   The girls players are T.Youngmei Kano Konyak (u-44kg), M.Amo Konyak (u-46kg), Antimongu Chang (u-49kg), Imtisangla (u-52kg), Echungbeni Ngullie (u-55kg) and Nenghoikim Singson (u-59 kg).   The NTA team is sponsered by Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Nagaland. The NTA is hopeful of medals. The team will depart the state from September 20. This was stated in a press release issued by Xavier Rutsa, Press Secretary, NTA.
