NTEP organises CME for doctors in Wokha

Wokha, December 7 (MExN): The National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP), Wokha organised a Continuing Medical Education (CME) for all the doctors in Wokha district at Medical Superintendant’s Conference hall, District Hospital, Wokha on December 6. 

Dr Akum Jamir, District TB Officer and resource person for CME informed that the programme is part of run up activities towards launch of Nikshay Shivir campaign for TB Elimination. Since Wokha has been identified as one among the 347 high focus districts in the country, there will be an intensified campaign on TB elimination in the next 100 days, he said. 

Dr Akum also appealed to the doctors to co-ordinate with NTEP staffs for sensitization activities on TB elimination in the district. The CME programme which consisted of two credit points was attended by more than 20 doctors from various health facilities in the district.
