Winners of the 2nd Tening Sub- Division Football Tournament, Ntu Youth Club.
TENING, MARCH 29 (MExN): The 2nd Tening Sub-Division Football Tournament organized by ‘Limelight Foundation’ at Tening Village local ground culminated on March 29.
In the final match, Ntu Youth Club defeated Native Feathers by 2 goals to nil. The champion walked away with a cash prize of Rs 40,000 with trophy and citation. The runner up pocketed Rs 20,000 and a citation.
The best player award was given to Kalungthinwi of Ntu Youth Club; best goalkeeper award to Asuanq of Ntu Youth Club; and the highest goal scorer award to Khiuwangbo of Native Feathers.
The inaugural function was graced by Khenglu President, Liangmai Council (N) and closing function was graced by Zekuidi Zeliang, President, NDPP Peren Region. Altogether 20 teams participated in the tournament. Lungchega and Cristina Sound were the official partners of the event as photographer and sound engineers.
