Nagaland University inter-campus meet 2024 got underway at Lumami on February 8.
LUMAMI, FEBRUARY 8 (MExN): The opening ceremony of the two days Nagaland University non-teaching staff inter-campus meet 2024 got underway on February 8. Participants from Lumami, Kohima, Medziphema and Dimapur campuses are taking part in the event.
Nagaland University Non-Teaching Staff Association (NUNTSA) president, Imchawabang Aonok said the gathering aimed to foster camaraderie and sportsmanship among the dedicated non-teaching staff members.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Registrar Dr. Abemo, who marked the commencement of the event by ceremoniously kicking off the football. The ceremony was presided over by Vekhoyi Tetseo as chairperson, and invocation by Eziza Sumi. The event featured a special musical performance by Bethel Kinimi, adding a touch of cultural vibrancy to the occasion.
Oath-taking ceremony was led by Dr Harish K Tiwari, who emphasized on the values of fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Participants from all campuses enthusiastically took the oath, pledging to uphold the spirit of healthy competition and mutual respect throughout the inter campus meet.
