DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 9 (MExN): A 3 days carnival of the Nagaland University, Lumami kicked off with Dr. Abemo Lotha, Registrar, Nagaland University as the chief guest, under the theme ‘’Leisure amidst the swamps.
The chief guest in his speech stressed the importance of organizing such events which provides an avenue for students to exhibit their creativity and a means to relax and enjoy. He further urged students to come out of the comfort of technology and to explore one's own abilities and capabilities and not deviating oneself from pursuing their studies sincerely. He cited experiences from his own life and termed student’s life as the golden period and advised the students to develop their skills and potentials and contribute towards society.
