Dimapur, August 30 (MExN): Nagaland University conducted Gram Sabha Programme at Sumi Settsu Village under Akuluto Block, Zunheboto on August 30 under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan programme.
Dr Rakesh Kumar Chaurasia, Senior Scientist and Head KVK, Zunheboto, Nagaland University explained about the activities needed to be taken up for overall development of village. Dr Kundan Kumar, SMS, Agriculture Extention deliberated on the importance of having Gram Sabha meeting.
Head GB and Village Council Chairman, Sumi Settsu Village along with villagers attended the programme and discussed about the various problems faced by them. Based on the problems, action plan was made to resolve issues related to post harvest technologies and sanitation, a release from Dr. Rakesh Kumar Chaurasia informed.
