The Medal winners with the Director General of Indian Pencak Silat Federation Md. Iqbal at Guru Nanak University, Punjab
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 28 (MExN): The senior Pencak Silat Team representing Nagaland University emerged victorious by winning 1 Gold 1 Silver (Team) and 3 Bronze Medals at the All India Inter-University Games held in Guru Nanak University, Amritsar, Punjab from January 25 to 27.
The Gold medal was won by Kitenlo K Thono in Tanding event; Silver Medal was won by Liike Kibami, Avikali V Sheqi and Hatneinem Khongsai in Team Regu event; and Bronze Medals were won by Kevin and Edwina Lhinghoithem Hangal in Tanding and Tunggal event was bagged respectively.
The Nagaland Pencak Silat Association’s athletes are studying at Livingstone Foundation International College, Tetso College, Salesian College, Dimapur Government College and Pranabananda Women’s College.
