NU without Vice Chancellor since Sept 7

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 14 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has asked the Governor of Nagaland, who is also Chief Rector of Nagaland University (NU), to initiate for appointment of a Vice Chancellor for NU at the earliest. In a letter to the Governor, the NSF reminded that NU has been functioning without a Vice-Chancellor since September 7 after Professor BK Konwar completed his 5 year tenure. “It is imperative that a Vice Chancellor be appointed for smooth functioning of the University,” the NSF said.
