Dimapur, June 29 (MExN): Nungshiba’s first basic doll making training, a 45-day course which started on May 2017, concluded on June 21, 2017. Naga super model Ketholeno graced the Nungshiba handicrafts felicitation programme for the successful candidates at the Integrated Development-cum-Resource Centre, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur on June 29.
Speaking on the occasion, Proprietor Zuboni Humtsoe congratulated the successful trainees and informed everyone gathered that all the five successful candidates have been offered job placement within the company. Out of the five candidates, two are specially-abled.
In line with the parent company, PML’s vision and mission, Nungshiba strives to provide the best quality training and also create more jobs and opportunities for creative people, irrespective of educational qualification. The team is also working closely with the Deaf Biblical Ministry, Dimapur, to empower and employ more specially-abled to keep nurturing an inclusive ecosystem at the workplace.
The Nungshiba basic doll making training is supported by the Women Resource Development Department, Government of Nagaland. The second training will commence from July and interested candidates have been invited through local media to apply for the same. Two seats are reserved for the specially-abled.
