Inter high school quiz competition in Phek
Phek, September 19 (MExN): Blazer’s Club in collaboration with Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) organised the first inter high school quiz competition under the theme ‘Nurturing Talents’ on September 17.
Gracing the occasion, Murohu Chotso DC Phek encouraged the students to excel not only in academic but in competitive exams as well. The programme was compeered by Shekhrulu Dozo and Er. Pfutsulo Thasou, while pastor Wavitho, PBCPT blessed the programme, and welcome address was brought by Nyushothe Nyuthe District Statistical Officer, Phek. Exhortations were shared by Maj. A. Banerjee and Deputy Commandant Dr. Chandan Singh of 46 Assam Rifle Phek.
John Kiso, PGT GHSS was the quiz master for the event. Bishop Abraham Memorial High School emerged as winner of quiz, followed by Royal Foundation School and Christian Mission High School. They were awarded with Rs. 7000, Rs.5000 and Rs.4000 along with trophy and certificate as first, second and third sponsored by Blazer’s Club, Rongsenlemla Imchen (IFS) District Forest Officer Phek and Dr. Katoni Jakhalu Principal Phek Govt. College respectively.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Thuputo Venuh President PTCSU. Altogether 600 Students from all the high schools led by a teacher-in-charge attended the programme.
