The 18th Zona Fest of Nagaland University Students' Union (NUSU), Kohima campus, Meriema commenced under the theme ‘Encompassing diversity and inclusivity’ at the RCEMPA, Jotsoma on April 18.
Addressing the inaugural function, MLA Dr Tseilhoutuo Rhütso challenged the youth to understand the value of their duty and responsibility. He also told them exercise hard work, dedication and determination, which according to him, is the key to excel in one’s journey. Further, Dr Rhütso encouraged the youth to gain knowledge as much as possible and focus on skill development for employability. Master of the ceremony was Lituna Jakha while Literary & Magazine Secretary, NUSU-KC, Kevilenuo Miachieo delivered welcome address. Vote of thanks was delivered by editorial board, NUSU-KC Mhabeni Kikon. MLA A Pongshi Phom will grace a cultural show as the guest of honour on April 19.
