NUSU-L holds two-day carnival at NU

Lumami, October 21 (MExN): A two-day carnival was held at Nagaland University (NU), Lumami organized by the Nagaland University Student’s Union, Lumami (NUSU-L) on October 17 and 18. The carnival kicked off with a short opening programme by Professor Pardeshi Lal, Vice Chancellor, NU.


The Vice Chancellor as the Chief Guest gave shared to the students on how the carnival originated and emphasized on enjoying one’s youth accompanied with discipline and hard work which was displayed by the students during the carnival.


Asserting that students should not only be cornered within the four walls of being bookish and studious, but also know how to work hard with integrity, the Vice Chancellor encouraged the students to take this carnival as a training ground to work hard coupled with having fun with discipline and integrity.


The programme was chaired by Mary Shainyu L (Cultural & Literary Secy NUSU-L), while invocation was done by Hendo (President, CYM), a press release from NUSU-L stated. Welcome address was delivered by the Union’s President Hito H Khulu and a special appearance by Loreno Ovung was presented.
