Longleng, Macrh 21 (MExN): The Department of Social Welfare Longleng launched Poshan Pakhwada (Nutrition Fortnight) 2023 at the CDPO Office, Longleng on March 21. The fortnight will be observed under the themes ‘Millet for Nutritional Well Being,’ ‘Celebration of Swath Balak Spardha,’ and Saksham Anganwadis.
According to updates from the state DIPR, the programme was chaired by S Amos Khing, Supervisor, while the welcome speech was delivered by L Shamdok Menlei Phom, Supervisor. CDPO Longleng Atsole Khalo launched the Poshan Pakhwada and took the Poshan pledge with Anganwadi workers and helpers and other convergence departments who attended the launch.
The keynote address was delivered by Longhong Phom, district co-ordinator for Poshan Abhiyaan, it added.
