KOHIMA, MARCH 17 (MExN): The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) on Monday launched a free coaching camp for freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling at the IG Stadium in Kohima, with support from coaches from the Youth Resources and Sports Department.

NWA President Vivolie Kezo formally inaugurated the camp, emphasizing the importance of mastering the two wrestling styles, which are recognized as Olympic events. Kezo highlighted the close connection between Greco-Roman wrestling and the traditional Naga wrestling style, encouraging participants to take the training seriously and strive for excellence.

The training sessions will be held daily from noon to 2 p.m. Wrestlers interested in joining the camp are encouraged to register, with the NWA expecting more participants in the coming days.
