Dimapur, April 21 (MExN): The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has condemned an alleged incident of robbery involving a woman in Dimapur and called for prompt action from the authorities.
In a press release, the organisation stated that the incident reportedly occurred on April 13, when a woman was allegedly robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight near her residence.
Expressing concern over the reported incident, the NWHD said such acts raise serious questions about public safety and security. It urged the concerned authorities to take swift and decisive steps to apprehend those responsible and ensure that appropriate action is taken.
The organisation also called on law enforcement agencies to strengthen security measures and enhance patrolling in order to prevent similar incidents.
Further, the NWHD appealed to citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate in maintaining law and order. It also expressed solidarity with the victim and her family.
