Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has expressed appreciation to the Dimapur Police for apprehending two absconding accused involved in a highway crime case reported in July 2024.
In a press release, the NWHD stated that the arrest was carried out through a coordinated operation in Bengaluru in collaboration with the Bengaluru City Police. It said the development reflects the commitment and efficiency of the Dimapur Police in pursuing the case.
The organisation acknowledged the role of the Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, and the police team for their efforts, including the use of technical intelligence to track down the accused outside the state. It stated that such action demonstrates that those involved in crimes will be brought to justice irrespective of their location.
The NWHD also noted the importance of inter-state coordination in addressing criminal networks and appreciated the efforts of law enforcement agencies in this regard.
Further, it supported the appeal made by Dimapur Police urging the public to share information related to similar crimes and called on citizens to cooperate in maintaining law and order.
The NWHD reiterated its appreciation to the Dimapur Police and expressed hope for continued measures to ensure safety and security.
