A volunteers carrying out awareness programme on social distancing and sensitization drive in view of COVID-19 at Kohima on April 29.
Kohima, April 29 (MExN): Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) and National Disaster Response Team (NDRF) carried out awareness programme on social distancing and sensitization drive in view of COVID-19 at Kohima on April 29.
The drive was carried out by one sub team of 12th BN NDRF Doimukh and NKYS volunteers. At High School Market areas, volunteers brief about advantage of social distancing to people in market area and labour party working in site. The team also spread awareness on how to stop the spread of corona virus infection.
Sub-inspector KP Singh said “NDRF is always ready to serve the nation in view of COVID -19 and such time as this pandemic is eradicated from our country, NDRF will continue to do the same. Rescuers of 12th BN NDRF sprayed the disinfectant mixing with sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and water by moterized jet spray machine.”
The team was led by Sub inspector KP Singh with sub inspector WL Odyuo and NYKS volunteers.\
