ZUNHEBOTO, March 5 (MExN): Zunheboto district launched the National Youth Policy (NYP) and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan (RGKA) at Zunheboto public ground on March 3. Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Zunheboto Kendra under supervision of L. Akato Sema, Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto organized the programme.
Kemciyile, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Zunheboto asked the youth of Zunheboto to be proactive and play the role of a good citizen with the rest of the country. She also encouraged them to receive the benefit of the Policy, while the Government of India is realizing the importance of the youth and giving importance to them.
A press release issued by NYKS Programme i/c for Zunheboto Ruokuovikho Chale informed that Khenatoli Yeptho chaired the programme; Tokugha Jakha, Youth Pastor ZTSBC said invocation prayer; Ruokuovikho Chale delivered keynote address; Mughalu Awomi, Spokesperson, Zunheboto Town Youth Organisation said vote of thanks. The programme was followed by a rally.
