Kohima, February 6 (MExN): The Nzaunalui Welfare Kohima has resolved to work for the uplift and unity of the society in particular and the Nagas in general. During its annual meeting cum get together held on February 6, the Welfare also resolved to have the students felicitation programme in a befitting way.
The meeting also decided to organise a joint consultation meeting for formation of Nzauname apex body on February 26, 10:00 am at the residence of N. Azui Zeliang, Jalukie – B. In this regard, the Nzaunalui Welfare Kohima has requested all invitees to attend the said meeting without fail.
Meanwhile, Nzaunalui Welfare Kohima elected the following new office bearers for the tenure 2016-2018: Chairman – Ichulung Disuang, Secretary – Kiechung Disuang, Treasurer – Aneile Newme and Auditors – Azie Pame, DS Namrei, D Kialung.
The meeting was chaired by Nzaunalui Welfare Chairman, Amos Pame, invocation pronounced by Aneile Newme, sharing and blessing hour for the newly elected office bearers and the student's appearing HSLC, HSSLC and degree exam by Lungliwang Newme, Associate Pastor, Kohima Zeme Baptist Church, Nagabazar, Kohima. All Nzaunalui citizens in and around Kohima attended the meeting.
