NZYO alleges irregularity in Sainik School-Jalukie road construction

Jalukie, September 2 (MExN): In view of the RTI reply received on April 19, 2016, the Northern Zeme Youth Organization (NZYO) has wondered as to how and to what extent the construction of road from Sainik School Punglwa to Jalukie under NLCPR is progressing.

As per the RTI reply, NZYO said, there is no work order, no contractor, nor any time period given to complete the work. “The work is very irregular in progress,” alleged the release issued by NZYO President, Kiepeube Zehuny and General Secretary, Machidi.

“All the bridges have been demolished creating untold hardship to the public, in time of flooding which affects even the school going children. Besides, the progress of the work is just to ‘fill up the blank’.”

Therefore, NZYO has apprised the department/authority concerned to look into the progress of the work for the welfare of the public in general.
