O2 Academy awareness campaign in Kiphire

Dimapur, May 17 (MExN): O2 Academy, a unit of Masti Health & Beauty Pvt Ltd on May 6 organized a community sensitization programme in Kiphire Town in association with Kiphire Sangtam Students’ Union to create awareness on the ongoing SDI –Job oriented skills development training programme in O2 Academy, Hyderabad.

O2 Academy, largest and fastest growing beauty and wellness brand in India is an official registered VTP (Vocational Training Provider) with the Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Government of Nagaland to provide 6 months free training cum placement for school drop-outs and educated unemployed youths in Beauty and Spa at O2 Academy, Hyderabad. State coordinator for O2 Academy Mathew Dangmei informed in a press release that more than 177 enthusiastic Naga girls especially school drop-outs and educated unemployed who desire to become beauticians, hairstylists, and spa therapists have been undergoing the training.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment & Training, Government of India are sponsoring the training programme with the objective to reduce unemployment issue among the youth in the country.

The sensitization programme in Kiphire was organised and facilitated by O2 Academy state team, Dimapur led by Mathew Dangmei, and Counselors Lovitoli Aye and Thungreni Kikon.  Around 30 leaders from different communities including women and students leaders from neighbouring towns and villages of Kiphire participated.
