Kohima, March 15 (DIPR): Obituary references were delivered by the Chief Minister and Assembly Speaker at the NLA budget session today. Chief Minister TR Zeliang made obituary reference on the death of former Governor of Nagaland General (Retd) KV Krishna Rao on January 30, 2016. Zeliang also mentioned the former Lok Sabha Speaker and sitting MP from Meghalaya Late Purno Agitok Sangma, who passed away on March 4, 2016.
Meanwhile, the NLA Speaker made obituary reference to the former Member of NLA, L. Nokzenketba, who passed away on February 5, 2016. Nokzenketba was elected as MLA from Koridang constituency from 1982 till 1989. He also made obituary reference to the passing of former member of NLA Lalkholam Kuki on February 9, 2016 in Peren. Former NLA Member Er. T. Sakusangba Aier, who passed away on February 24, 2016 in Dimapur, was also mentioned by the Speaker.
