Kohima: With the objectives to create awareness on Consumer Protection Act and the Rights of the consumer in relation to goods and services, training on consumer rights was conducted from March 3 to 5 at ATI Kohima.
Office Assistants from government departments participated in the training where Dr. A. Alem W. Longchar was the Course Coordinator.

James Richa, Chemist, State Public Health Laboratory, GoN spoke on Consumers Rights awareness on food safety; Joshua Sheqi, Advocate, Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench & Associate Director YouthNet spoke on Consumers Rights vis- a- vis case laws; Kezhokhoto Savi, Advocate, Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench & President Nagaland Voluntary Consumer Organisation spoke on Consumer Protection Act and the Rights of the consumer in relation to goods and services.
