Kohima, December 16 (MExN): Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) has re-elected the present office bearers of its head office led by Pele Khezhie as the President for the next tenure from 2017 to 2021. The decision was made during the 41st general meeting of NCSU held on December 15 at the conference hall of NCSU head office Kohima, near Engineer-in-Chief, NPWD office.
Representatives from all the district units of NCSU participated in the meeting and had thoroughly deliberated on the tenure of the present office bearers of NCSU head office, which comes to end this month.
For expansion and reshuffling of office bearers including various sub-committees of NCSU head office, the house also authorised President Pele Khezhie to take up the matter on priority in consultation with the Executive Council of NCSU, informed a press release from convenor, Nomination Committee, NCSU, Povotso Lohe.
Further, the general meeting also empowered NCSU President to drop any of the office bearers or member of various sub-committees, “who is found lacking in extending cooperation to him or the Union or who is not discharging his or her duties and responsibilities properly and appoint new office bearer or member in the vacant posts.”
