Pughoboto, July 26 (MExN): The Totikivi Cluster Level federation (CLF) inaugurated its office at Pughoboto town on July 19 with M Patton SDAO, Department of Agriculture, Pughoboto as the chief guest.
Block program manager, RD block Ghathashi, S Kanitoli Chishi in a press release stated the SDAO congratulated and acknowledged the members of SHGs, VLOs for their achievement through their active and good cooperation among the members.
He encouraged the CLF executives members to uphold the spirit of true leadership for the affairs of the federation.
The chief guest further exhorted the womenfolk to become a producer and make their products available in the nearby market of Tseminyu and Kohima.
He emphasized the SHGs members on the various schemes and project undertaken by various agencies and the department where seeds and machineries are distributed to the farmers.
Patton encouraged the SHGs members to adopt new technique and modern technology to improve their agricultural methods in place of traditional system.
A short speech on behalf of the NSRLM was delivered by S Kanitoli Chishi. She congratulated the Federation on their success and wished them the best in their future endeavor. The program was chaired by Kanili Assumi, Vice President Totikivi CLF; recorded by Yevili Sheqi GS, Totikivi CLF.
Office dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Katoli Swu, Associate Pastor (Women) PTBC, welcome speech and introduction was delivered by Yekali Shohe, President Totikivi CLF and vote of thanks by Hejeli Wotsa, Treasurer Totikivi CLF. A song was presented by Pukaputsani VLO. Around 100 SHG members attended the programme.
